About CVBCA

The state’s most prominent small and minority business association was created in 1989 to address the disparity in contract opportunities for minority business. 

CVBCA’s mission is to promote the values of economic parity between businesses owned by minorities and to further promote the advancement of these businesses in the mainstream economy with a primary focus on the construction and service industries. CVBCA’s role is to serve as an agent of advocacy, solidarity, and facilitator of mutually beneficial entrepreneurial relationships between business sectors and businesses of color. CVBCA’s goal is to increase business revenues for minority business; To achieve this goal, the CVBCA promotes business opportunities between minority business and the corporate major contracting community, promotes business-to-business contracting, educational, training and support services for members.
